ZIMA residential project in Tscherms
wins KlimaHaus Award 2025

Bolzano, October 22, 2025 - The ZIMA Living Panorama residential project in Cermes (BZ) was honored as one of the five most successful construction projects certified as a KlimaHaus in the previous year at the 23rd KlimaHaus Awards. The expert jury of the KlimaHaus agency recognized the project planned by Stuppner Unterweger Architektur for its successful combination of innovation, architectural quality and ecological responsibility.

The KlimaHaus Awards ceremony took place on September 26 at the Bolzano Winery. From almost 1,500 projects certified in the previous year, the jury selected five award winners that implement the principle of sustainable building in a particularly convincing way.

"The Living Panorama residential complex in Tscherms is characterized by its harmonious integration into the surrounding landscape while maintaining high quality standards," says an excerpt from the jury statement. "The project was realized using sustainable materials and low-emission technologies. The construction quality is reflected in the architectural details, such as the wooden cladding that characterizes the façades, terraces and staircases and lends warmth and elegance to the entire building," it concludes.

Statement for sustainable building culture
With this award, the KlimaHaus agency recognizes builders and planners who have made a concrete contribution to sustainable building through their commitment and have implemented the KlimaHaus standard in a particularly exemplary manner. Living Panorama was built in accordance with the KlimaHaus A Nature standard and impressed not only with its energy efficiency, but also with its architectural appearance, the use of sustainable materials and its harmonious integration into the existing environment.

"The KlimaHaus Award is a special distinction for us - because it shows that sustainable construction and architectural quality can go hand in hand," says Stefan Krapf, Managing Director of ZIMA in Bolzano. "With Living Panorama, we have shown that responsible building does not mean sacrifice, but creates quality of life and long-term added value."
