When constructing the new company headquarters with a floor area of around 2,500 m² per storey, particular attention was paid to ecological and economical building technology. Thanks to a geothermal probe in combination with an air heat pump and solar system, the new company headquarters is practically a zero-energy building. The solar panels have been optimally integrated into the green roof. The total of 25 charging stations for electric cars also contribute to sustainability, as do the production processes, whose water consumption is equipped with a complex water treatment system including heat recovery.
"With the new building and the scheduled move into our new company headquarters on Spühlstrasse, we have completed a historic milestone in our company history and, looking back, we are very pleased with the partnership and cooperation with ZIMA Projektentwicklung AG," says Christian Eckert, CEO of REGLOPLAS AG, on the completion. "Work and production processes can now be optimized and handled efficiently. We also offer our employees an attractive and modern working environment," concludes Eckert.
REGLOPLAS AG's ultra-modern new building will offer employees the best conditions for their everyday work in the future. Over 60 new workstations have been created in the production area, which are naturally lit and ventilated thanks to the building's structure. The office workstations were equipped with state-of-the-art Swiss wooden furniture and height-adjustable desks. Various lounges and tea kitchens allow employees to actively exchange ideas. With the large, modern catering kitchen, employees are catered for in-house and can then spend time in the relaxation room or the fitness room with top training equipment. There are comfortable checkroom lockers and showers as well as bicycle parking spaces with charging facilities for e-bikes. The automated small parts warehouse, which extends over three floors, enables efficient storage and fast supply to the workstations.
During the project development, planning and realization of the new office and production site, we always worked together with suppliers and companies from Switzerland, primarily from Eastern Switzerland.
On the part of ZIMA Projektentwicklung AG, based in St. Gallen, project manager Christian Hoffmann was in charge of the successful client partnership. ZIMA was a trusted partner of REGLOPLAS AG from the search for a new location, through development and approval, the establishment of the project organization, to the development and planning of the new building for production, development, testing, administration and finally the implementation of the new building. The completed new building is impressive proof of this.
