ZIMA Tyrol celebrates
Completion in Völs

Innsbruck/Völs, 4.10.2021 - With the "Brandjochblick" in Völs, ZIMA Tyrol has completed a best practice example in terms of modern and affordable living space. On Friday, a successful party was held in glorious sunshine with owners and project participants to celebrate the completion in style. Also present were the mayor of Völs, Erich Ruetz, the deputy mayor, Walter Kathrein, and the municipal councillor, Peter Lanbach. Pastor Christoph Pernter was also present at the ceremony.

In order to counter the growing pressure on the Tyrolean housing market and create new living space, ZIMA Tyrol is increasingly seeking close cooperation with local authorities in its project development. Against this backdrop, a flagship project has now been completed with the "Brandjochblick" in Völs. As part of a regional planning agreement, 50% of the land was allocated by the market town and built under the terms of ZIMA's housing subsidy. The ceremonial handover of the apartments to the residents took place at the beginning of October under appropriate safety precautions.

"With the completion of our 'Brandjochblick' project, we were able to prove that high-quality yet affordable living space does not have to be a contradiction in terms. Thanks to the close, cooperative partnership with the municipality of Fiè and especially with Mayor Ruetz, we were able to realize a sustainable mix of privately financed and subsidized apartments and thus create urgently needed living space for locals," explains Alexander Wolf, ZIMA Tyrol Managing Director. "For us in the municipality of Fiè, the partnership with ZIMA is an absolute win-win situation that has already been successfully implemented in two projects," comments Mayor Erich Ruetz.

Modern residential quarter with an optimal balance between urban and rural living
The residential project comprises four buildings with a total of 51 apartments and is rounded off by an easily accessible pediatric practice. The individual buildings each consist of a first floor, two to three upper floors and a shared basement, which includes an underground garage with 73 parking spaces. The modern floor plans of the 2-, 3- and 4-room apartments are complemented by contemporary open spaces with a high quality of living - for example, each apartment has a spacious terrace, a sunny balcony or a relaxing private garden. In addition, the residential units have been furnished to the usual ZIMA quality: from real wood parquet flooring with matching skirting boards and underfloor heating to high-quality sanitary facilities in the bathroom and WC and photovoltaic systems on the roof.

In addition to the diversified mix of apartments and the varied floor plan typologies, the first-class location is another key asset: Nestled in the green Inn Valley with views of the surrounding mountains - including the Brandjoch peak, which gave the development its name - nature is close enough to touch. What's more, the vibrant city center of Innsbruck is just eight minutes away by train. The most important local suppliers, leisure facilities and schools are also largely within walking distance.
